Eine Form der kongenitalen Muskeldystrophie, die durch eine angeborene, im Kindesalter beginnende, fortschreitende proximale Muskelschwäche, Gelenkkontrakturen und potenzielle respiratorische Insuffizienz im Erwachsenenalter gekennzeichnet ist.
