Eine Form des Ehlers-Danlos-Syndroms, die durch eine generalisierte Gelenkhypermobilität, eine Überdehnbarkeit der Haut und leichte Blutergüsse ohne atrophische Narbenbildung gekennzeichnet ist. Weitere häufige Merkmale sind Fehlbildungen der Füße und Hände (piezoelektrische Papeln, Pes planus, breite Vorderfüße, Brachydaktylie und akrogerische Haut der Hände), starke Müdigkeit und neuromuskuläre Symptome wie Muskelschwäche und Myalgie.
