Asbestintoxifikation
Auch bekannt als: Asbestose
Die Asbest-Intoxikation ist eine Pneumokokniose (s. dort), verursacht durch Exposition mit Asbestpartikeln. Die Symptome (zunehmende Belastungsdyspnoe, trockener Husten, Thoraxschmerzen, Atembeklemmung, inspiratorisches Rasseln, Trommelschlegelfinger) können noch viele Jahre nach der Exposition aufftreten. Spätere Komplikationen sind Pleura-Mesotheliom und Lungenkrebs (s.diese Termini).
