Die myopathische Form des Carnitin-Palmitoyltransferase-II (CPT II)-Mangels, eines erblichen Stoffwechseldefektes in der mitochondrialen Oxidation der langkettigen Fettsäuren (LCFA), ist die häufigste und am wenigsten schwere Form des CPT-II-Mangels (s. dort).
