Holoprosenzephalie, semilobäre

Ein klassische Form der Holoprosenzephalie, die durch die Verschmelzung des linken und rechten Frontal- und Parietallappens mit nur einer hinteren interhemisphärischen Spalte gekennzeichnet ist. Zu den unterschiedlichen kraniofazialen Merkmalen gehören Augenhypotelorismus, Mittellippenspalte (vollständig oder teilweise) und eine flache Nase.
