Eine seltene komplexe Fehlbildung des Gehirns, die aus einer unvollständigen Teilung des Prosenzephalon resultiert. Betroffen sind sowohl das Vorderhirn mit neurologischen Störungen als auch das Gesicht mit Anomalien unterschiedlicher Schweregrade.
