Säuglingsbotulismus

Der Säuglingsbotulsmus ist eine seltene Form des Botulismus, einer seltenen erworbenen Störung der Muskelendplatte mit absteigender schlaffer Parese, verursacht durch Botulinum-Neurotoxine (BoNTs). Ursache ist die Besiedelung des Darms mit Clostridium botulinum deren Toxine in das Blut übergehen (Toxinämie).
