Fatale infantile Laktatazidose mit Methylmalonazidurie

Die tödliche infantile Laktatazidose mit Methylmalonsäureurie ist eine seltene neurometabolische Erkrankung, die durch einen infantilen Beginn einer schweren Enzephalomyopathie, Laktatazidose und erhöhte Methylmalonsäureausscheidung im Urin gekennzeichnet ist. Klinisch manifestiert sie sich mit schwerer psychomotorischer Verzögerung, Hypotonie, Gedeihstörung, Ernährungsschwierigkeiten und Dystonie. Epilepsie und multiple kongenitale Anomalien können assoziiert sein.
