Das Carey-Fineman-Ziter (CFZ)-Syndrom ist eine seltene Assoziation von Muskelhypotonie, Moebius-Sequenz (beidseitige kongenitale Fazialis-Parese mit gestörter Fähigkeit zur Abduktion der Augäpfel), Pierre-Robin-Sequenz (Mikrogenie, Glossoptose, hoher Gaumen oder Gaumenspalte), auffälligem Gesicht und Wachstumsverzögerung.
