Die Multisystematrophie (MSA) ist eine neurodegenerative Erkrankung mit Störung autonomer Funktionen (Herzkreislauf und/oder Harnblase), mit Parkinsonismus, Kleinhirnsymptomatik und kortiko-spinalen Zeichen. Die Patienten überleben im Mittel 6-9 Jahre.
